Shelby, a senior at Ole Miss, is pursuing a degree in Art History with a minor in Italian. Excited to join the nAscent team to learn the ins and outs of the art business, Shelby spends most of her free time exploring everything this city has to offer. New York is a big change for this Mississippi native, but The Met and Central Park have impressed. Next up: The Guggenheim!
Mariah McVey
Art Consulting Intern
What's this item about? What makes it interesting? Write a catchy description to grab your audience's attention...Mariah is a rising junior at Princeton University pursuing a degree in Art & Archaeology, as well as a certificate in American Studies. During her summer with nAscent, she looks forward to putting her passion for the arts to work in a business setting, and seeing how nAscent makes it work. When she isn’t helping her teammates on the rugby pitch place third in the nation, Mariah can be found enjoying a rock concert (Widespread Panic) or spending time with her friends.
Josie Pierce
Film and Video Intern
Josie Pierce is pumped to join the nAscent team this summer as a film/video intern. Currently a rising junior at Sarah Lawrence College where she studies film and poetry. When not stuck producing documentaries for freelance clients or writing the next great screenplay, she enjoys reading (Virginia Woolf), exploring museums (Museum of the Moving Image), and watching movies (Princess Bride).
