As co-founder of nAscent Art New York, Jennifer Wallace helps clients acquire fine art by emerging artists for building lobbies, companies' offices, and leading hotels.

Jen has produced dozens of exhibitions and events viewed by hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers. An art expert who cares, she hosts of her own web series called Art Seen, and often speaks on panels to discuss art & emerging artists. Jen also consults galleries, individuals and organizations on artists trending in the marketplace.

When not shaking up the art world, Jen also serves as an executive producer (& sometimes craft services) at Mastodon Films.

President and co-founder of nAscent Art New York, James Wallace’s responsibilities range from client and artist relationships, HR, marketing, and strategic initiatives. A well-traveled former Air Force pilot with advanced degrees in law and business, James’ varied background and familiarity with a variety of industries puts him in tune with client needs. Besides producing and directing a feature-length documentary that played in theaters, he loves seeing client reactions to nAscent’s work first hand and often joins nAscent art installation teams on site.

​Stephanie returns to nAscent after a stint at a leading global media firm and prestigious interior design firm. She began as an art consulting intern at nAscent, and is excited to be back. She completed her degree at Pace University with an emphasis in Communications and Fine Art, and now coordinates nAscent projects and business operations. Accomplishing nAscent's ongoing mission of finding and delivering the right art for each project is Stephanie's daily mantra. When not at nAscent shaking up the art world, she enjoys the Brooklyn music scene. Stephanie also thrives in the role of nAscent CFO—Chief Fun Officer!

A junior at New York University, Mary Oliver majors in Spanish and minors in Film Production and Environmental Biology. Eager to dive into the "Art Seen" with nAscent and thrilled to be on the nAscent film and video team this summer, Mary's background in video journalism includes time with PBS NewsHour's Student Reporting Labs. On her days off, Mary can be found hiking in the nearest mountains, spending the evening at a concert, or hiding out in a cafe with a good book and a black coffee.

Devan Prabhakar studies film & television as a junior at New York University. A filmmaker based in New York, Devan has been making films since childhood, and each film he creates brims with his passion for film. Numerous film festivals have shown his work, including SXSW, Manhattan Film Festival, and Austin Film Festival. For the summer, Devan will learn more about production and apply his creative talents to "Art Seen". He will continue his career in film after college.
